Sinopsis Singkat:
Pada tahun 1972, sebuah gerbang Hypergate ditemukan di permukaan Bulan. Hypergate tersebut diketahui sebagai gerbang yang dapat menghubungkan Bulan dengan Mars. Penemuan ini membuat manusia mulai bermigrasi ke Mars dan tinggal di sana. Banyaknya manusia yang tinggal di Mars membuat terbentuknya Kekaisaran Vers. Selain penemuan Hypergate, ditemukan kembali suatu teknologi peninggalan masa lalu bernama Aldnoah. Penemuan ini menjadi awal mula terjadinya konflik antara Kekaisaran Vers dengan penduduk Bumi. - Otakotaku
